Meet the Readers
Kristine Klanderud
Kristine was born and raised in Guatemala City, Central America. She attended
an English speaking school since she was four years old. Traveling abroad and
having worked in Guatemala with many U.S. choreographers, singers, directors and
actors she is deeply immersed in artistic activities that range from teaching
tap and jazz to singing, acting and directing musical theater productions, both
in English and Spanish. She is currently a lawyer and artist living in
Guatemala.

Miguel Amézquita Miguel was born in Guatemala City. He has been involved with language instruction since 2001, teaching German, Spanish and English at several Language Centers and accumulating over 4,500 hours of classroom experience. Additionally, he has taught English for the Rafael Landr University in the same city. In addition to language instruction, Miguel has actively participated in the development of over 25 theatrical productions in Guatemala, helping to revive the musical theater genre in the country. He has also been engaged in other areas of entertainment, including radio, TV and, more recently, audiobooks. He started his artistic career in Guatemala, and since then has performed throughout the Western Hemisphere. He currently lives in New Jersey, USA.
